As we get older we develop signs that remind us that we're not a spring chicken anymore.

Cheaper facelift

As we get older we develop signs that remind us that we're not a spring chicken anymore.  But when you start to LOOK the part of the fall or winter chicken, well..that's not so good and your turkey neck that has been stewing for a while, is now quite visible!  So, how can you avoid the dreaded "turkey neck", sagging jowels and apparent wrinkles that are taking over your face without going under the cosmetic surgeon's knife?

Warning: This procedure does cost, but it's better than going under the knife, and cheaper!

The procedure is called Thermage, also known as ThermaCool, ThermaLift, and radiothermoplasty.  With this treatment, you're not putting anything in or taking anything out, and it is not as aggressive as cosmetic surgery.  This is a non-surgical skin tightening procedure that uses radio waves to help you achieve a more youthful appearance.  It is intended to tighten facial skin, smooth wrinkles, and improve facial contours.  There are no incisions, and no "down time", It's a non-surgical face-lift experience!

The treatment is done in a doctor's office and may take up to an hour depending on the size and condition of the treated area.  Thermage uses the FDA approved ThermaCool device to deliver radiofrequency engery to heat collagen, which then builds and contracts the collagen, which in turn tightens the appearance of the skin's surface.  The skin that tightens during the process, continues to tighten for three to six months after treatment which results in smoother skin.

The results may produce a more refreshed youthful appearance for up to two years! Now I know we're all concerned about cost, but this is one of those areas you may have to "bite the bullet" on in order to avoid the surgeon's knife. (see - Save Cash for Cosmetic Surgery) The cost of a Thermage treatment can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000.  If the out of pocket cost is too high for you, talk to your surgeon about payment plan options, most have them and are willing to work with you.

A non-surgical facelift can mean the difference between hidden facial scars and no scars at all.  A large payment due or a smaller, more reasonable payment you can afford.  Do it cheap, do it on a budget!
