Years ago, many people didn't care as much about whether their teeth were white enough. Now, it seems as though we live in a very health conscience, teeth whitening society. The problem is, going to the dentist for teeth a whitening experience can be quite harrowing, especially on your pocketbook! So, how can you get what you want and still come out ahead financially? Let's start with the basics:
Brushing your teeth - Before brushing your teeth in the morning, swish a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in your mouth for a minute or so. Just use it as you would a mouthwash. If you're a coffee drinker...wait until after you've had your coffee. After rinsing your mouth with the hydrogen peroxide, brush your teeth (up and down, not side to side), for about 2 minutes three times a day. This makes sure your gums are getting a massage. Giving your gums a massage improves the circulation, and makes sure that your gums will hold your teeth. The hydrogen peroxide will assist in the brushing and get your teeth really white. Look around for the best whitening tooth paste (with tartar control) on the market. Warning: Hydrogen peroxide is not to be swallowed, so make sure you don't.
