Telecommuting can save you time and money.

Save up cash for new boobs by working from your home

Let's face it, there are some jobs that just do not fit into this category, and you know if you have one of those types of jobs.  For those of you who this may indeed work for, tighten up your belt and take advantage of your employers' "open door policy".  In other words, you're going to have to broach the subject with your boss.

How can you save money by telecommuting?  Here are a few positive pointers that will make for an impressive "argument" for why you should be allowed to telecommute.

You'll be spending some of your commuting time in your "home office" - Happier staff who have more time to spend with their families are more productive.

It reduces overhead - Most companies are always concerned about overhead.  If allowed to telecommute, that would be a thing of the past, they won't have to maintain an office space for you.

It's environmental - If you normally drive to work, think about how much better it woud be for the environment if you worked from home instead?

Paying for the rising cost of commuting - This will be a thing of the past.  Everyone knows gas prices are so very high right now.  Even public transportation rates have gone up.  Plus your boss doesn't have to maintain as many parking spaces if more staff worked at home.

There's less sick leave - It's amazing how you can still do some work from home, even if you're too sick to drive safely.

Offer a trial period - Finally, offer a trial period.  Ask your boss, if he's still listening and his eyes haven't glazed over, to give you a trial period.  In other words, ask him if he'll give you 90 days to work from home and that way if neither of you likes it or it doesn't work out, then there's really no harm done.  Things can go back the way they were before. If it does work, you'll be among the many who are saving money on gas, parking, clothing and many other items by working from home.

By telecommuting, you'll be saving money for that cosmetic surgery you've been anxiously waiting for!  It's worth a try!
