Keep in mind that with the application of some gas saving tips, you can keep your spending to a reasonable range, and help save the environment at the same time! The next thing to do is to make sure you maintain your vehicle; a car that runs well and smoothly uses less gas than one that is poorly maintained.  Regular oil changes, air filters and other recommended maintenance will help give you a fuel-efficient car.  It won't save you a dime if you have to continue to spend money on a car that is always breaking down due to a lack of care.  Don't forget to keep your tires inflated. Studies have shown that while the savings on gas aren't huge, it does make a small difference to keep your tires inflated to the
recommended pressure.  It also makes your tires last longer.
