1. $5,000 is a lot of money
You're damn right it's a lot of money, and I worked a lot of voluntary over-time to pay for these boobs! I only had the job long enough to pay for the surgeries and then I quit. I'm really a stay-at-home mom anyways. Plus who wants to come back to work and hear the comments "Girl did you hear about Rita? I know she just had breast surgery, just look at how big her boobs are!."
2. It was better than wasting it on something frivolous
$5,000 is a lot of money, but when you have it, you tend to not be as careful as you should be. If I hadn't gotten my new breast implants I would have spent the money on something else anyways, so why not use it to enhance your looks. Plus, I've been wanting implants since I graduated high school.
3. Now that I know how to save money, I'll be saving for my next procedure
At first, when I was saving to have my boobs done, I wasn't sure if I could save the money. But I did it and now I'm thinking of having a few more things done to make "the package" complete. I guess referring to myself as a package is pretty good because it's like once you take off the old exterior or wrapping paper...the old me., then you reveal the beauty inside!
4. I had decided a while back that no matter what it took, I was going to get that surgery!!
I remember the rush I got when I finally got to see the finished look, they looked really good and at first I thought they might be a little too big but the doctor explained to me how that the swelling would go down eventually.
5. $5,000 isn't too much money to spend to look good
At first, all I saw that huge bill..but then I saw my breasts and suddenly forgot all about that stupid mega bill. I have to admit, new boobs do look good on me. I feel that if you want to look good...no amount of money should keep you off the operating room table.

Please tell me that this is a satire. I'm so sorry you have been brainwashed into thinking that $5,000 is acceptable amount of money to spend on something that only "improves" you superficially. Also, please check out the stats about followups that most women who get implants have to go to: leaking implants, painful scar tissue, and more can make for many repeat surgeries that won't be anywhere near as exciting.
I'm sorry you feel the need to cut yourself up like this. What does your husband think? How about your children? Are you going to love them just the way they are, or will you encourage them to modify themselves when they get older so that they can be truly beautiful too?

My wife has talked about getting a boob job since we dated. She has always had nice sized breasts but after 2 kids, she just didnt like the way her breasts looked. So after hearing from her that she was very unhappy with looking saggy, we decided to get them. I know that people say you should be happy with the way you are and just except what you look like... but, she's thrilled with the results. When you look at her, you can just tell she has nice breasts.... not that she had a boob job. Thats for us in the bedroom. She's very sexy..... I've always felt she was, but now....she feels it also. Anyone thinking about doing it..... do it.... you'll know why after... its nice to see a healthy looking woman. Breasts are beautiful... all of them, just sometimes they need some encouragement.

I got mine done for my 21 birthday, which I saved up myself working as a waitreess while attending college full-time. I'm now 25 and dont regret it one bit!.. my self-esteem has sky rocket and I love how sexy my body looks. I was really small and only went to a full B because I'm petite and have a very tiny frame. But its totally poportions my body and I no longer feel like a little boy!..
To those interested in the getting it done..I recommend only doing it if like me it has bothered them for a very long time, by the age of 21 i knew my boobs weren't going to grow so I knew I had to get it done. It would really depress me to look at my little girl frame. I wouldn't even take off my shirt in front of my bf because I felt so embrassed. SO do it for youself and no one else!!!!!! Educate yourself about the procedure and remember implants are not for everyone!

I have always wanted to get this done. After being heavy in high school and losing 30pds in my twenties and having 2 breastfed sons, my breast are so ugly and flat. I work out very hard, eat a great diet to stay healthy. Yet still, i cannot wear so many clothes. I am having this for me. The one thing no diet or exercise will not change. I was looking or support on how to tell my sons. All I read is hate mail on why not to do it. Why is it so hard for people to be supportive and not call us shallow. This no different than going on a diet to look and feel better. Trust me if I could exercise my way to this I would but surgery is the only option. Stop being haters and try to see people can do this to feel better about themselves. Mabye a look in the mirror is in your future. If anyone has tips on telling my teen boys, I would welcome them!!

Look, Kate H, it's not about other people. It's about her. She did this for herself because she was unhappy with her body, not because other people were. And as for her kids, I'm sure she thinks they're perfect in every way just the same way people thought she was perfect in every way. Just because you have a surgery doesn't mean you'll push that surgery on other people. That's ridiculous. It's a personal decision to make yourself feel better, not something you let other people talk you into. If you can't see that from her post then I don't know if you read it or not.

Kate H ur a bitch. Obviously u have never felt self conscience about something that can be fixed so easily. This girl is a rock star for going out, working hard, and fixing the thing that made her most self conscience. Not whining about it or waiting for someone to help her. dude... i hav a rather small chest... im in 8th grade w/ a 30A all of my frends r in a B of some knd. everyone always teases me about how small mine r but i dnt give a crap because i like my boobs. now... i have proof some guys like small boobs because i have a b/f. he tells me to neva chnge. all my B sized frends dnt have a boyfrend. i luv my boobs the way they r.

I promise you, if you had misquito bites for boobs, you would be writing just as aggressively argumentive comment about how much you hate looking like a 7 year old boy. I'm sorry your breasts are so huge that they make you think that anyone wanting a breast augmentation is "stupid". Maybe you should get a breast reduction, but don't hate on women who are embarrassed for never feeling womanly enough. It shows your maturity level...rather lack of.

Ew comment 13 needs to stop cursing so much at 16 years old. this conversation is for older women who have more things to worry about then playing the violen. and chances are once you get out of middle school you wont be harrased. your boobs are probably really gross though and you have bad posture because your 16 and dont know how to sit up straight. I have big breasts naturally like yours, and im petit and when i run my boobs dont feel like theyr going to rip off my chest, i dont have bad posture, and i take the comments as compliments.
